A hint of reduction on opening quickly fades into charred pineapple and stone fruit. Soft and cool, closing with gentle grip and quench.

100% Carbonic Chardonnay. From the Lansdowne Vineyard, Forreston, Adelaide Hills. The fruit was hand harvested, then fermented as whole bunches in a sealed tank for 2 weeks. After this, the fruit was pressed and rested in 10+ y/o 500L barrels. White carbonic is a curious thing. Rather than the juicy candy flavours of red grapes, it seems to accentuate woody herbs and Hubba Bubba. Forget what you think you know, you know nothing.
