A bright, fresh and expressive white blend with great texture. Excellent right out of the fridge, but equally good to be sloshed across the dinner table.
66% Sauvignon Blanc, 34% Chardonnay. Adelaide Hills, Forreston, Landsdowne Vineyard. Hand harvested, direct pressed, settled overnight and sent to barrel for fermentation. Left to gather, assembled and bottled in December 2023. This iteration of Battered Sav is more honeyed and textured, but with a spine of acidity that keeps it from billowing out. I love the way this wine looks after some years in bottle. A nice flick of struck match opening to bruised granny smith and quench.

Manufacturing

All Borachio wines are made from organic (non certified) grapes. Made and bottled with care at our little winery.
There are no chemical adjustments made nor preservatives added.
Bottled in an Australian made lightweight bottle, sealed with a Vinc+ micro-agglomerate cork.
The cartons we use are manufactured by a local, family owned business.
Labels are printed by a local, independent business.
Please recycle the glass, carton, divider and crown seal.
