All the yum of carbonic Franc with dialed up juiciness and acidity from the saperavi rosé
Juicy and crunchy, a prefect aperitif for when you brain says yes to wine but no to bullshit.

Blood & Roses, while the blend will change year on year, the vibes remain the same. Easy to drink, juicy and fun.
This year sees Saperavi - picked ripe - from Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills. It was pressed directly and rather than pale and lean, it was looking like a full blown red wine. Cue, Blewitt Springs Cabernet Franc from Lulu's place, just around the corner. We sealed this up in a tank for 2 weeks, for some Carbonic Maceration. 2023 being a cooler vintage meant that post pressing we ended up with, essentially, a rosé. So in this bizzaro world of rosé thats red and reds that look like rosé, we blend! The split is a little over half Franc with the rest made up of Saperavi.
